What You'll Do

1Design, build, and maintain GitLab CI/CD or comparable pipelines for enterprise applications including validation, testing, packaging, deployment, promotion, rollback, and post-release verification

2Develop reusable automation using scripting languages such as Python to reduce manual release activities

3Use approved AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude daily for pipeline development, scripting, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation

4Define and implement CI/CD patterns for platforms such as Salesforce, Zuora, and other Business Systems

5Establish environment and promotion strategies across development, test, staging, and production including configuration management and deployment sequencing

6Implement quality gates, automated checks, approvals, audit trails, and policy controls for enterprise application releases

7Partner with application owners and development teams on branching, versioning, release cadence, and rollback standards

8Improve release observability through deployment dashboards, pipeline metrics, change records, notifications, and operational reporting

9Investigate failed deployments, lead root-cause analysis, and implement durable corrective actions

10Contribute to release calendars, change planning, blackout-period coordination, and risk-based release decision-making

11Build documentation, runbooks, reusable templates, and enablement materials

12Coach engineers and application teams on CI/CD tools, release automation, branching strategies, testing, and operational readiness

13Collaborate with security, compliance, architecture, and enterprise application stakeholders to meet control requirements

Requirements

EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
