What You'll Do

1Own the high-level architecture and scaling decisions for core Phone platform components, including CPaaS abstractions, provider adapters, and shared messaging/voice APIs

2Own Phone Billing end to end: usage metering, rating, reserve/commit lifecycle, idempotency, reconciliation, and audit trails

3Lead evolution of Trust & Compliance systems into a configuration-driven, rules-based platform

4Work hands-on with NestJS, Firestore, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, queuing systems, data warehousing, and service mesh-based microservices

5Lead cross-cutting initiatives to improve reliability, latency, and throughput across time-sensitive APIs and workflows

6Evolve monitoring, alerting (Prometheus/Grafana), and incident response strategies

7Leverage LLMs and AI tools to write, refactor, test, and debug code while implementing guardrails

8Partner with product, infra, security, finance, and legal teams

9Develop EM I leaders and senior engineers; build leadership pipeline and succession planning

10Participate in design reviews, deep dives, and on-call rotations

11Architect for massive scale across the WhatsApp ecosystem: onboarding, WABA management, template lifecycles, message delivery, usage metering
