What You'll Do

1Design and build REST APIs that power analytics dashboards, search interfaces, reporting modules, and administrative tooling

2Design and maintain the PostgreSQL database — relational schema design, migrations, indexing strategy, query optimization, and triggers

3Build and maintain integrations with third-party platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and SharePoint

4Build data ingestion pipelines that consume structured data from external sources and persist it cleanly into PostgreSQL

5Implement authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant access control across the API surface

6Build background jobs, scheduled tasks, and file processing workflows

7Optimize backend performance — query tuning, caching, connection pooling, and load handling

8Manage deployments to Render, monitor production behaviour, and debug live issues

9Contribute to code reviews, particularly on backend and database changes

10Occasionally collaborate with the frontend team on API contracts and assist on small frontend changes when required
