What You'll Do

1Own the technical architecture and standards for every Commerce merchant/shopper-facing surface and raise the frontend bar for all of HighLevel

2Publish the Commerce frontend standard covering architecture, state, data fetching, testing, accessibility, and performance for all Commerce teams

3Instrument real-user monitoring on every Commerce surface and publish field metrics for LCP, INP, and CLS per surface with owning teams

4Review frontend pull requests across Commerce and document patterns so reviews scale

5Map the central frontend platform roadmap against Commerce needs and agree a working contract with the central platform team

6Ship architecture enabling Commerce teams to build and deploy surfaces independently with enforced module boundaries

7Put performance and bundle budgets in CI for every Commerce route and make accessibility a gate (automated CI checks plus WCAG 2.2 AA manual audits)

8Land typed, generated API clients end to end so backend contract changes break at compile time

9Upstream a Commerce-built capability to the central platform adopted by another organization

10Hire and onboard the first Commerce frontend engineers and produce a frontend hiring plan

11Ensure Commerce storefronts meet 'good' Core Web Vitals at the 75th percentile on mid-range mobile and pass a WCAG 2.2 AA audit

12Design shared instructions, skills, and review gates so coding agents follow the frontend standard by default

13Lead or co-lead HighLevel-wide frontend decisions as RFCs with the central platform team

14Write production code weekly
