What You'll Do

1Design very low-latency systems for dynamic pricing strategies, large-scale inventory data processing across tens of thousands of products, and vendor ecosystem management spanning almost half a million vendors

2Lead systematic reduction of technical debt across pods, improving deployment stability and reducing operational complexity

3Own architectural decisions spanning multiple pods and teams, guiding design of resilient, high-availability systems without direct authority

4Partner closely with Engineering Managers to balance technical excellence with delivery velocity and influence architecture trade-offs

5Elevate engineering standards through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship

6Drive adoption of best practices and raise the bar for how systems are built

7Communicate complex technical concepts to engineers and non-technical stakeholders, articulating trade-offs and justifying decisions
