What You'll Do
1Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable backend services and enterprise applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
2Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
3Drive technical discussions and provide technology recommendations aligned with project and organizational objectives.
4Own end-to-end delivery of backend components, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, and security standards.
5Define and enforce development standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across the team.
6Review code, perform technical audits, and ensure compliance with architectural standards and engineering excellence practices.
7Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, DevOps teams, and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
8Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical production issues and escalations.
9Design and implement reusable frameworks, components, and services to improve development efficiency.
10Mentor junior developers and senior analysts, providing technical guidance and fostering team capability growth.
11Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
12Contribute to estimation, sprint planning, risk identification, and release management activities.
13Ensure implementation of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and observability best practices.
14Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve business outcomes.
15Support presales activities, solution discussions, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept implementations where required.
Requirements
EducationProfessional and Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience in Node.js and TypeScript development. Extensive knowledge of JavaScript ecosystems, backend frameworks, and enterprise application development. Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Strong experience with frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, Fastify, or equivalent. Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency handling, and event-driven architecture. Strong knowledge of software design principles, SOLID principles, design patterns, and domain-driven design concepts. Hands-on experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and optimization. Experience with API security standards including OAuth, JWT, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Good understanding and practical experience with GraphQL implementations. Experience working with caching technologies such as Redis and distributed caching solutions. Experience with message queues and event streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Experience with source code management platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps. Hands-on experience with code quality, security scanning, and governance tools including SonarQube. Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Strong debugging, performance optimization, and production support skills. Experience in implementing automated testing frameworks including Jest and integration testing approaches. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices.
