What You'll Do

1End-to-end architecture ownership of core exchange systems

2Design and build matching engine, order lifecycle (pre-trade, trade, post-trade), risk & liquidation, and market data pipelines

3Build for ultra-low latency, high throughput, and deterministic execution at scale

4Lead and mentor a ~25-member engineering team

5Drive architecture reviews, system design decisions, and engineering best practices

6Define latency budgets, throughput benchmarks, and performance SLAs

7Design failure handling, fault tolerance, and recovery strategies

8Build cloud-native, horizontally scalable systems with strict determinism requirements

9Ensure production readiness through observability, rollbacks, and incident prevention mechanisms

10Own reliability, correctness, and performance of mission-critical trading systems
